Jin's still on the island

All these are my own opinion.

& I couldnt be bothered re-reading any threads/posts about it so sorry if it's been said before.

Watching the episode again it's kind of obvious he isnt dead for 3 reasons.

1. When Hurley asks 'Is anyone else coming' and Sun answers No. Hurley replies good.
Because Hurley and Sun both know Jin's still on the island so want to grieve because they miss him and they're the only people who know what's really happened.

2. The gravestone shows Jin's death is the date of the crash
Which fits in with there only being 6 survivors. So it's a cover up of the fact that he's still on the island?

3. 'Jin... You were right. It's a girl. The delivery was hard on me... The doctor said I was calling out for you... I wish you could've been there. Jin... She's beautiful. Ji Yeon. I named her just like you wanted. I miss you so much. I miss you so much.'

To me it sounds like she's talking to him as if he was on the island and not dead.

'I wish you could've been there' and 'I miss you so much' just make it seem like he's still on the island.

I agree with all points except 3.
When somebody says "I wish you could've been there", it doesn't mean he is any more on the island than being dead.

However, the biggest giveaway of him being on the island was pointed out in number 2. His date of death saying the date of the crash in my opinion, answers for itself that he never came home. Whether he died on the island or not though is a different matter.

I doubt he's died on the island. Although thinking about it maybe he could of. It's hard to predict why he's still on the island and if he's actually dead there or not.

The story the O6 have been told to tell is that 8 people survived the crash, two of them dying just after. This 'just after' could be a few hours after, it's not specified. All that is is Kate tried to save them; this could be through CPR or whatever. It could very well be thatthe public already know who these other two are: one of them very might well be Claire as it would give an answer as to how Aaron has come to be with Kate with relatively no questions. in would therefore have to be classed as dying on the day of the crash, due to whoever is forcing the O6 to tell that story obviously wanting to cover up everything that really happened between the crash and rescue.

I'm sorry but you just don't see that sort of grief unless the person in question is dead. You probably also wouldn't go to his 'grave', especially with another person dressed in all black.

Until I'm conclusively proved wrong, Jin is dead.

i agree there that claire would be 1 of the 2 that died shortly after because she had to give birht to aaron.

When Sun was in laybor she cried "No, Not untill Jinn gets here!" or something to that effect.
So i think Jinn must of come home just before the baby was born and then died just after? or maybe died on the way to the hospital.
im probarly missing something here but thats what i think.

I think Sun was just drugged up. I don't think she meant to call for Jin, because clearly after the baby was born she goes to visit his grave and the date on the grave is around about the time of the plane crash.

Maybe she was just in a weird state of mind while she was giving birth and she just shouted it out.

Doesnt men that he is dead though i mean stranger things have happend in LOST he may still be alive.

Jin is either with Daniel or back on the island, but I dont think he is dead either. It would be nice if one couple had a true love story other than Des and Penny. The reunion scene between Jin, Sun and baby would be a total tearjerker. I know that we also have Rose and Bernard, but they are still together and I honestly think one of them will die before the series ends.
