Well I would like to think Lost does not end in the Flashforwards. I get the impression we are heading back to the Island to complete the journey. From Jack's "we have to go back" and to Abaddon's "are they still alive?", surely the O6 will return?

With the Freighters' lack of motivation in rescuing the Survivors, only a few will be lucky enough to leave. Those left behind will not necessarily be kept there as such, but rather they miss their chance to leave. That is what I feel anyway.

In fact, Hurley's overall cheery demeanour is quite confusing.

But i think the way Hurley said "We should go see him" made it seem like he was dead.

Very good spot. I was already of the opinion that Jin's dead, and that seems to make it more likely.

Hello I am new to these forums, and what I am about to write may have already been written or observed by some.

I apologise if I am repeating anything but did anyone notice the dates on the gravestone? There was his birth day I think it was November 1974 and his death date which was given as 22nd Sept 2004 <-- Does this date ring a bell to anyone? Why would Sun agree to having his death date as the same date as the plane crash? Because she has to cover up that only 6 survived.

Jin is still alive!

Plus Jin's flash, was a flash back wasn't it?

It's a good spot but it doesn't mean he's still alive - in Hurley's flashforward, the police officer was under the impression that Ana Lucia died in the crash, when actually she died much later. It's just that everything has to fit in with the story that only eight people survived the initial crash - everyone else will have their death date listed as 22nd Sept 2004, regardless of whether or not they died on that day ... or alive.

Nice idea but as Murgatroyd stated the cover-up story is that Jin died in the crash with everyone else. The cover-up story as explained by Jack stated that everyone died in the crash except 2 - of whom died shortly thereafter. Not to mention Sun seemed genuinly upset.

I want to know why if Sun got off the island why Jin didn't go with her. Maybe he died on the island?

If Jin's death is covered by the fact that he died in the crash, and we know that Sun got pregnant when Jin returned, after the other 48 days, then her pregnancy dates wouldn't match. I know she could have said she was premature but the doctors would see that. Is she pretending that someone else is the Father??

I dont really understand Sun's pregnancy dates either. Didn't Juliet say that Sun was about to enter her third trimester (the reason why she desperately needed to get off the island?) But it's only just christmas on the island, and the plane only crashed on September 22nd...that's only 3 months. And Juliet also found that Sun's baby was conceived on-island. Surely Juliet means Sun's second trimester? (apologies if that's actually what she said lol). And also that would mean she got pregnant pretty much straight after the crash...for some reason i was under the impression it was after 'the other 48 days'? Hmm...Sun doesn't really look pregnant either. Ok, Juliet must have said second trimester. Lol. My mistake! Ignore me!!

Though interesting point you raise charlierocks - perhaps it has gone 'undetected' or it has been 'covered up'? Or maybe Sun has stated she got pregnant before the crash and the matter of weeks would not be noticeable? I am unsure.

I'm sure that she got pregnant after 48 days, which means the earliest she could say she got pregnant by Jin was the night before the flight, 49 days. That's 7 weeks, which is a lot in a pregnancy of average 40 weeks.
She also seemed quite relieved when she thought about proper medical care ina proper hospital when she knew she would be going home(I think she said it to Claire??) I'd think that the first thing she would do was to see a proper doctor, who would dosome sort of scan for dates and checks etc...

No, Jules said that women usually made it to the middle of their 2nd trimester. She also said that nobody had made it to their 3rd. Sun is into her second trimester and within 3 weeks or so she'll hit the middle of her 2nd trimester when all that stuff will begin and she'll die.

She shouldn't even be in her 2nd trimester yet... As far as I know, the middle of the 2nd trimester should be 5 months, and she's been pregnant for two, at a stretch.
