The bodies would be pretty rotten by then but so would bodies that have been under the sea for an extensive amount of time. I doubt they did autopsies on them. There was around 300 members of Dharma.

We also now know that Ben does have enough money, hence the $3.2 million, as he staged the wreckage.

Why did that only seem simple to me

Only some of them. You saw how big that civilisation was, plus there was bound to be more than what we saw in TMBTC. You don't think that those in the ditch are the only remnants of Dharma do you?

Well, they were also skeletal after all these years, and those that we saw in Confirmed Dead had skin.

There also looked to be quite a significant amount of them in that ditch - you couldn't see the bottom of it, and as I said, they were only skeletons and clothes.

Maybe he kept 300 pickled in a giant jar.

I dont think it was Ben.
I think it could of been Widmore because he wants to find the island and to stop others from ever thinking the Losties are alive he staged the wreckage. Beats me where he got the bodies from but it is Widmore, he has the money.
I just dont see it being Ben.

that's right lol i doubt he would have gone through the trouble of preserving the bodies just incase a big plane crashed

We only saw Seth Norton's hand that had skin on *If that's wrong please find me a screen cap*. Some of the Dharma bodies had some skin left they weren't completely skeletal.

But a complete civilisation? A ditch would go pretty deep with about 30 people in, let alone the amount that an entire civilisation would hold.

I'm pretty sure that Ben did stage the bodies, it makes sense seen as the Black box from the real plane was with the replica. Who else can leave the island? And aas ben doesnt want the island to be found, what better way than to stop people looking for the plane?? This would also tie in with how Naomi and her peeps were baffled when they found out the survivors where on the island
