What do you mean the ending? The ending was Sun crying at Jin's grave in the flashforward, therefore we don't know if he's dead or alive

You weren't seeing a Jin flashforward, it was a flashback. The guy in the store said it was the year of the dragon, the last year of the dragon was 2001.

crikey! did not see that coming! and had no clue about the flashforward/back thing, very well done!

i do think jin is really dead though, i think he will be one of the 2 that died on the island according to jacks story in court, thinking claire is the other one.

so do we take it that it was jins funeral that jack went to? the name in the paper started with the letter j but why would noone turn up, unless it was faked and jack went because he was 'in a weird place' at the time.

I'm certainly not a fan of Jin/Sun episodes and whilst this wasn't in the same class as The Constant, and definitely not as good as The Other Woman, it was still the best Jin/Sun eppy so far.

Firstly, Jin. His death had practically no impact on me at all and I don't know why lol. I didn't know and wasn't spoilt however once we knew that Sun was off-island then I did a quick calculation and realised that she was the 6th of the Oceanic 6. By the way does anyone else think they revealed them far too soon? But Jin is a great man, a really honest character and the arc that his character has been on is probably the most dramatic arc of any character. Starting off as a seeming wife-beater and neglectful husband he's become a really warm-hearted character who I think pretty much every fan likes.

As far as the cross-timelines go I did say to myself very early on, I bet these aren't simultaneous timelines. It was only an off-hand comment but when it was revealed it didn't come as a surprise. I guess it comes from watching the Saw films lol.

Sun is a b**tch! I can't stand that woman. Yes she was semi nice in the FF but she has to be the most hypocritical and annoying character on island since Jack. Slapping Jules like that. You shouldn't have kept it from your husband Sun ol' girl! And Jules attemtping to save her life and then calling her a liar. Ooh it should be you not Jin.

Juliet is God. She's an angel. "Because Sun you're my patient". Ooh I love you so. Even when she got the poor taste slapped out of her she kept her cool and still tried to save Sun. She's got a heart of gold. She also told Jin what he should have been told long ago. Not her place Sun? No it was yours but you didn't do too well on it did ya?!

Also the worst reveal in the history of revealing reveals. I think 99/100 people had already figured or guessed that Michael was coming back at some point, so at least make an effort TPTB!! That was pee weak. Kevin Johnson eh? Well I hope Kevin Johnson has Sayid-proof body armour.

Plus what a waste of Regina. Interesting but what a waste. Mind you I suppose it stops the thoughts that run through every males mind when they say her name.

And Kate and Jack went back to their annoying ways this episode. Kate in particular. I had begun to like Kate recently and then she does that. Silly woman. And Jack was, well, Jack.

But another episode without Locke!! I think time may actually be breaking as we speak.

Anyway, a good episode, that didn't add much but was an interesting watch.

No. It looked like that FF was quite close to the rescue, due to Sun's birth-giving and the still freshness of the Oceanic 6.

The funeral was obviously much later on due to Jack's mindset and facial growth.

Apart from what you said about Jin, I agree. Jules was trying to help, and I'd probably have done the same thing in her position. And when Regina hopped off the boat I was like

This also set me off, for some reason. As of last week, Juliet has been making me cry - and it really needs to stop, lol. I thought the scenes with Sun and Jules were really well done - especially Jules telling Jin about the affair. Harsh, but neccessary. It worked and they're staying on the beach.

Ahhh... that feels quite definite then.
Although I realised that eventually, I went for an hour afterwards thinking that the twist was Jin faking his death to Sun so he could get remarried, and was annoyed at the apparently dodgy writing telling us that Paik would take him back while he's separated from Sun.

This confusion kind of ruined the whole impact of Jin's death for me...

It would mean Jin was operating under an alias in Los Angeles, without Sun's knowledge. It doesn't seem too plausible to me.
