My Pre-4.07 Thoughts

Revolution
Locke is so blinded by his quest for answers and meaning that he lets ben play with his string and the evil genius ropes him in. Ben is so desperate to be "right where he wants to be" under his own terms - and to raise that $3.2 mil that he toys with Locke's rope before reeling him in. A pact, a coalition? Perhaps a mutual understanding. Both men have burning objectives and both hold the key to each others half - Locke has the tools (like every good hunter) but little information...and Ben has the information (like every good behaviourist) without the tools.

Locke has discovered that leadership comes at a price - one Ben has learnt to live with. Perhaps this will help Locke to understand why Ben is the way he is? Afterall the ability to get things done is a stark difference between these two men. Locke is hesitant, ben is confident.

The Other side of Luck
Sawyer and Hugo are busy reinforcing the theme of luck last seen in their tricia tanaka death roll - but has Hugo's luck truely changed, or like Valis is he in part manifesting his own luck whilst reality dips in and out of his perspective..

Extra Plate
Eitherway, ben's coming for dinner - and I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that one! I can imagine that by the end of it all nothing would have been eated but much will have been said. ben has a way with words - as Jules well knows, the man can communicate with her even whilst he's tied in a downstairs basement. Interestingly Jules still follows orders even tho she's now with Jack (is she with Jack?), yet she doesn't follow them through..

It's okay, ben doesn't mind, he's free and he has blankets and a dinner invitation. Interestingly he doesn't seem upset that Widmore's people managed to deactivate the gas - which tells me that there's more to this than meets the eye. Not saying that Team faraday are 'the bad guys', but they sure as heck are working for them, which by proxy kinda makes them the bad guys - shame cos Red and faraday were growing on me.

Claire Speaketh
Claire's alive everybody and she has words to speak - unfortunately Locke was out of granades as one should have been inserted in her mouth ala Miles. Tired of the dead-weight i'm hoping that Claire's fate is already written in the minds of the creators - Kate gets Aaron, so the only compensation in knowing that Kate survives the island, is the hope that Claire doesn't. Sorry, but the once vessel must now sail.

ZZZZZZZZ
Speaking of vessels, preggers Sun and Jin have been sent into the woods because Jack was too short-sighted to tell them that he doesn't actually trust faraday and Red. I'm hoping that these two encounter smokey or something..ANYTHING to remind me of why they are in this show? I mean seriously Minkowski was more interesting than these two. I still love you Jin but your wife is coming between us.

Bite Down
..of course we shoudn't forget the most pressing issues from this episode- is Miles STILL biting down on that granade? Locke can be cruel but he's not sadistic, right? Thankfully we wont have to sit through a grenade centric episode to find out - least i hope not - seeing as S4 is just flying by in awesome condensed fashion.

Bring it!
So my hopes for this next episode are simple - keep entertaining me No, I don't want another 'Constant' just yet since my head is still reeling from the awesomeness. Please keep Claire and Sun away from the camera. No love triangles unless it involves Locke, Ben and an empty basement, more sci-fi - we've kinda lost that element since the Hugo centric, more of the power struggle between Widmore and Ben, less Jack (seriously, all he's done this season is wink, saunter around other peoples centrics and shout), more freighties and for heavensake let it be written by Dalton!
