‘You’re mine’ he shouted at Juliet after he leads her to the impaled corpse of her lover Goodwin, the one Ben sent on a suicide mission because Juliet chose him instead, before kindly allowing her as much time as she needed to grieve for his loss. Also if Charlotte and Daniel are to be believed, Ben would happily use the poison gas again on everyone if needs be.

Juliet Burke

Not content with breaking poor Ben’s heart by rejecting him, (what?) she knowingly starts sleeping with a married man and, if Charlotte and Daniel are to be believed with regards to the gas, nearly killed them. She also kissed Jack, which is wrong on so many levels!

Charles Widmore

The man who, if Ben is to be believed, wants to find the Island just to exploit it, and doesn’t seem to have a problem beating people up in darkened alleys in order to do so.

It's a throw up between Ben and Papa Widmore for me. I'm going to go with Ben, my favourite bunny boiler - in more sense than one.

If we believe Dan and Charlotte Ben would have once again wiped out every person on the island who was not in on the gas leak, intentionally or not. Once more, he went all 'fatal attraction' on Juliet, manipulating the circumstances to bring about her lovers death and then taking her to his corpse to announce she was "his". He'd probably have seemed quite sweet if he'd not been so...possessive.

This was hard actually .... I kind of think Ben was the hero and the villain in this episode. I mean, I want him to kick Widmore's ass but at the same time, he was very creepy and cruel towards Juliet

And I know thats predictable from me but I have reasons.

1. Your mine Mahahahahah - who does this man thing he is? Juliet or any woman is not an object!

2. The comment about Zack and Emma - heartless IMO

3. Responsible for Goodwins death - So Ben will kill his people top please himself (and this is AFTER killing Bonnie and Greta)

My Charles Widmore theory:

I don't think Charles "Jim" Widmore is evil. I know I am basing this purely on the actor but Alan Dale has rarely played "evil" characters. He is usually the "father" figure.

IMO Charles is finding the island for another reason that helps Penny/Desmond. Or Ben had tried to take Penny to the island once and wants revenge. I just think there is more too it then he wants to make the island a 'freaky circus'
