Is Locke Going To 'Harm' Claire?

I remember thinking in this episode that Claire was quite brave in standing up to locke, and well, questioning his methods. I believe that if she continues to question Locke, he may cause her (possible death) or banishment from the camp. This would obviously be Lockes downfall, as i'm sure Sawyer and Hurley wouldnt be too pleasant with Locke if he sent a new mother off into that jungle all alone. I know this is all theorising, but i remember thinking that she might be in danger, as Lockes stated he's a dictator, and Ben now seems to be manipulating him by implying he's going to have a mutiny... and as this was straight after Claires scene, i think it may be hint.

Also, as Ben is now free, he could manipulate the other survivors into thinking Locke's wrong, whilst at the same time, manipulating Locke into thinking a Mutiny is about to break out, This would then cause a big riot which could end with ben being leader... No one knows how that little man's head works, but we all know he's sneaky!

I don't think he'll banish Claire, because as you said she's a new mother. He'll probably just keep ignoring her protests which I think will mean she'll eventually move to Team Jack.
Ben will probably keep manipulating the situation, but I doubt many would listen to him. Then again, he could just plant the seeds of a mutiny and wait for the uprising to flourish, while at the same time playing on Locke's doubts and turn everyone on each other. Again, who's to say how successful he'll be?

Ye but with ben manipulating Locke every 5 minutes, and as Lockes foolish enough to listen, I'm sure he'd think someones gonna betray him. I'm not sure about him banishing her, (even though he banished Kate for ignoring him ) but perhaps he goes after someone else or something, and she gets caught in cross fire

Yeah, the other survivors are strong enough to ignore him, but as locke has shown countless times, he aint So I think Ben will first get to locke, and when Locke begins to act even more harshly, he will begin to get the survivors to question him. This could then lead to Locke becoming a wreck again, and somehow Ben will gain enough trust, or have a bargaining tip to become the new leader of team locke

I think he has a soft spot for Claire and Aaron to be honest and wouldnt harm them.
But I think Claire might leave on her own terms as she only joined Team Locke because of Hurley's speech about Charlie and once she realises Locke isnt bothered about Charlie anymore I think she'll leave.

No I can't see Locke hurting them at all. Unless the writers mess about with his character some more of course... Ben was probably right when he talked about how it's not nice to be second guessed by your followers, so after all he's been through with Miles - and Kate and Ben - already, Locke probably didn't appreciate another person bringing it all up again.

When did he state this? Locke (thanks to some truly awful writing in my view) said Kate may think this is a democracy because of the way Jack ran things, then she claimed that he was heading up a dictatorship then, to which Locke said that if he was a dictator he would have just shot her and gone about his day. Just because he says his style of leadership isn't democratic doesn't make it dictatorial.

I'm sure he only compared Jack's leadership to a democracy because the writers for Eggtown didn't watch The Cost of Living! Not to mention the dozen or so other episodes where Jack is the one behaving like a dictator!

That's what I meant! Jack's hardly the fairest leader out there, is he? Then again, nor's Locke. Still I don't think he'll harm Claire.
