Love Hurts - Especially if You're Jack

I prefer the Jules/Jack thing to the Jate/Skate thing, but I know where it's going to end..it's a triangle (incl. Kate), if not a square (incl. Sawyer) and it's just going to keep going back and forth until one of them dies or something.

Kate's always out for herself
Sawyer is all about Sawyer
Jack is all about fixing
and Jules is just not wifey material

These are not the makings of any healthy relationship. Whilst they are attracted to each other, surely this is the last straw! Jack affectionately tends to Katies head as Jules fumes and runs off in a huff. Then Jack sides with Jules and kisses her, forgetting that he told Kate "I love you" 2 days earlier. I mean, what? I know you don't love her like a sister, since brothers and sisters don't exchange saliva. So whilst I do blame Kate and Juliet for messing with our boys heads, they themselves must also shoulder some of the blame. I was really hoping that Jack wasn't going to kiss Jules - it was a great opportunity for him to regain some self-respect, but no, he goes and plants one on her.

That's why he'll always be my Jack-ass, getting played again and again.

He kissed Juliet right before he said it... so maybe Jack loves Kate in a longing sort of way... but he's willing to settle for Juliet, who is more or less in his league.

I think that Jack has come to think that Kate is gonna end up with Sawyer, i hate to say it, but i get the feeling that he's just 'settling' for Juliet because he cant have Kate. I'm actually starting to come around to Juliet and Jack because Jules hasn't had the best relationships. Damn you jack for using poor Jules!! Well, that's if you are in fact using her..

Goodwin said that he had been sleeping on the couch for a while so their marriage was broken anyway. Just because of Ben's jealousy Godwin died and Juliet felt she had no choice - until a certain doctor crashed onto the island. Maybe "hes worth it".

It upsets me that any man or woman should have to 'settle' for someone. I do see what you mean tho, it seems as if he think Jules is his best bet - his Sarah reincarnate. Silly man, get a new template Jack!

The thing is, Kate is really not his type anyway.
Jack needs to worry about Jack for a while and leave the girls alone.
Although credit to him for wanting to dip his toe into the spice of life - Kate being a brunette and all. Then again he's had a few different flavours what with the Italian chick and Achera

Jack should try being single for a while, maybe it'd help sort himself out. Juliet's not having much luck either. Her ex-husband tried to stealed her research and was then killed by the Others, who took her to the island, where she met Ben. Ben went all "fatal attraction" on her and killed her married lover. Now she's got Jack, seemingly forgetting that Ben was going to get her to manipulate Jack because of the similarities between her and Sarah, his ex-wife, who Jack stalked. Jules sure knows how to pick 'em!
