Juliet's A Home Wrecker!

I 'want' to like Jules, but after this episode any chance of that has been further dispelled.

So, she started off all innocent (butter wouldn't melt, kinda thing), but she goes on to become a right little home wrecker, stealing someone elses' man and not giving a 2nd thought about the damage she was doing to poor whatsherface.

Sure Goodwin had long been relegated to the couch, but that's no excuse for what they did to poor whatsherface. Jules even had the audacity to lie to the womans face. Poor form Jules

That's the thing - Jack should be careful with this one, cos the prescendant is there, she'll just screw him over just like Sarah. When will you learn Jack?

i know, and now shes moved on to jack - knowing there is something between him and kate, ok theyre not married but still! - and goodwins been dead how long????

Yeah, she doesn't seem to care as long as she gets what she wants. I agree, she didn't even seem that affected by Goodwin's death if we think back. She cried more about her burnt muffins and Ben's spine than she did about Goodwin. How can she just get over him in the space of a couple of months and move on to Jack?

But yeah, i was surprised to see her hopping onto Goodwin, but Goodwins a bit of a beast too, wasn't he? His wife, Juliet, sniffing around Ana-Lucia. I think these Others have a problem with keeping it in their pants it would be a simple solution to the pregnancy problems

Yeah, that's the thing - I always defended him because I thought that he genuinely saw potential in LuLu and wanted to bring her in to the Others ranks - but it turns out he just wanted to get in her pants! It makes sense now cos there is one scene in episode 2.07 where he's just looking at her whistfuly whislt she sleeps (or something). Okay, can't blame the man but Juliet Goodwin..JULIET!

lol, actually you're probably right - we Others do have trouble keeping it in our pants..especially that Karl!

Going back to Goodwin - I wonder if TPTB actually planned this storyline way back when, or whether it kinda just came together? Cos the integrity of the whole thing is shockingly good (although the new scene when they plane breaks apart is obviously a new one shoved in there..apart from that the whole thing is very believeable imo)

You were silly Jules, you were very very silly However, and I'm not making excuses, Goodwin seemed all too eager to get away from Harper, and we now know that Goodwin is a full on pimp!

Jules was all alone bless her and sometimes the need for comfort forces us to do bad things. The way I see it, Goodwin used her Again not making excuses for her but alot of the blame should surely go on Goodwin rather than Julie.

Okay, undeniably true, but I want Goodwin to get his own 'Boo to Goodwin!' thread as well now! I always felt Sun took the brunt of the blame for her affair while Jae got off comparatively lightly (I could be wrong, but that's how the balance felt) - in this situation, Juliet's equivalent to Jae (single, interloper into an established relationship) while Goodwin is more akin to Sun (married, has an affair with a single person), so I was kind of expecting he'd be the one being more frowned upon. I know he's being criticised in this thread, but surely he warrants one of his own if Juliet does.

Goodwin is a right manho I said this loads. It's these Others man, they just can't contain themselves. I mean, how many pregnant women must there have been? Just keep it in your pants and you won't have a problem

But yeah... it's not as if Goodwin & Harper had little kids running around or anything. And Harper was a bit of a cow...

Don't really see how she's a slut because she didn't go sleeping around with several men. Therefore no slut. Home wrecker possibly, however I've stated my reasons and case of defence for Jules and believe that the majority of the blame should go on Goodpimp.
