Does Faraday have a map of the hatches

Ok so this episode was on ages ago but I've just watched it and saw this:



Now that looks like a plan of the Dharma stations to me

wow, great cap!..i've never seen that before. i was meaning to go back over the scenes with his journal but never got round to it.

I counted '8' hatch-like symbols on that page..so it could well be that he has a map of the hatches, as the other map was farely sparse.

I wonder what those equations are? Alternatively i wonder whether those symbols represent gateways/portals or something of that ilk? (what with Ben's S3 talk of magic boxes)

But good catch..i'll need to have a proper look at this later

I think the other pages were filled with calculations - apart from the last page with the message about Des, the one I capped was the only one that seemed important.

Yeah I can see 7 clearly and one just showing at the top. The arrangment just looked familiar to me.

To me the calculations looked jibberish but I'll try and get another shot of them.

Back to the pictures... the first says 'The *something* invarient' and then 'Relative mass of the particle *something*'

Second one is just calculations.

Could it mean something or just be a prop??
