So, we have an actual location (or at least, a perceived location) as to where the island is. As Omar said, Fiji's in the South Pacific and right near Oz.

Which means that the island is not particularly near the Sundra Trench - which is in the Indian Ocean and where the possibly fake (or replicated) wrackage of Oceanic 815 was found..

Although, that's not to say that portals and wormholes don't exist - afterall Eko's plane somehow ended up on the island from West Africa.

Going back to the Sundra Trench - interestingly, the auctioneer (in the Constant episode) said that the Black Rock was last seen off the coast of Madagascar - which is kinda near the Sundra Trench..

So, do we have portals..is this like confirmation?

Wasn't Fiji simply where Keemi's buddy came from? He said smt like Florida, but he was corrected to Fiji.

I think Keamy said that his was from Vegas and Omar from Florida. I'm sure they said they were in or near Fiji. I'll need to check tho.

I thought he said his m8 was from Florida, but he was corrected and told he was from Fiji.

If I recall... Seth said he was attempting to fly to Fiji when the plane went down.

They only said that they last docked in Fiji, and as such, they know that they're still in the Pacific (in a sort of joke referring to them knowing where on Earth they actually are).

I don't see what's of note here to be honest. We already thought the Island was in the South Pacific, and Fiji is too, so it makes sense for them to dock there last.

I think the fake wreckage's location being in the Sundra Trench is only to throw people off the scent of where the actual wreckage is.
