I know it's been mentioned already, but seriously it deserves a thread of it's own - how awesome was that scene? The way the camera flashed back and forth between them..wow.

I didn't think they could push the Des/Penny love brand any further but they did imo.

Amazing stuff. I also loved the way Des thanked Sayid afterwards..that was really grand of him. He seemed enlightened..if not a tad still confused just as the camara went to the next scene

Why is there not a Pesmond or Denny group on this forum?

Yeah it was really well done. And very emotional. This has also been said but it really does put the 'love stories' like Jate

to shame big time!! No other relationship, on or off the Island, has the same depth and longevity as Des and Penny.

And much credit to the actors too. They really made you feel so involved/invested about their entire relationship. I think it was Murg earlier said that if she can request one thing from the very end of Lost, it is a happy ending for Desmond. I see where she's coming from there.

Beautiful, just beautiful - I also loved it when she said "Desmond!!??", her voice was so excited (obviously), I just thought it was so sweet.

I'm so glad she waited for him, even tho she was angry with him she still loved him deep down. It's so easy to understand both Pen and Des' side of the story - she certainly had a right to be angry with him to the extent that she forgot how much she loved him, and it's understandable that he wanted to get his honour back.

One of my favourite Lost scenes EVER. I loved it, very touching indeed. I agree re: the way the camera switched back and forthe, absoutely brilliant.

Both seemed genuinely upset, and I loved the tone of their voice during the conversation. It was VERY well done.

The cynic in me looks down on the scene as cliched, predictable, etc, but from a viewers perspective (far more fun lol) it was a great scene which showed two people who genuinely seemed to love each other, probably for the first time on lost.

Also theres so much lying, so many false personas and relationships on the show that the scene became even more refreshingly beautiful. Really uplifting to see.

I used to like the Jate and Skate, but know I am just sick and tired of the crud they are putting out there for them. It just keeps going and going, but the Penny and Desmond scene was way better than anything Jate and Skate can do.
