Did Regina destory the comms room?

I just thought of this this morning whilst having a shower!

Remember when Daniel phoned the boat using "the other number we are not surposed to use' could this of been the red phone in the comms room that Sayid repaired for Desmond??

If so, after the call did Regina destroy it so noone can use that line again??? Or when she had finished the call someone came in after and destroyed the comms room??

Seems a bit suspect to me...

On such a small boat surely the culprit will be caught? I thought The Freighter would be HUGE.

On-topic, the destroyed Communications room was purely for contacting the outside world was it not? I could be wrong however. I doubt Regina did it because everyone would know it was her.

I'm under the impression that Brandon destroyed the comms room - that's what Minkwoski said..

Interestingly, this is possibly Rousseau's Brandon..

Both Rousseau and Minkowski report that he went kinda crazy.

I think Robert may also have fallen victim to the same fate, only years earlier

What [according to Rousseau] happened to Brandon? She said her entire team died though perhaps I missed something.

Not sure what she thought happened to him, but she does mention him taking a key (did he lock her up somewhere?) and the BR. Here's her SOS transcript: Danielle's French Translation Transcript

Did Brandon leave them on the island because he saw the effects that the island had on them?

Although this still doesn't explain why Rousseau herself didn't become sick? Why was she immune? Was it because she was pregnant? Did her baba provide her with the 'constant' she needed? Hmm...

Actually I stand corrected Abbs, after rewatching I think Minkwoski stops short of saying it was Brandon who destroyed the comms. He doesn't actually say who it was. With that in mind, I think it could well be Ben's man who did this. Would make sense really if Ben instructed him/her to prevent them from making contact to the mainland.

Dunno, but it doesn't seem to effect everyone. Sayid and Frank were fine, while Des went 'crazy' when they strayed slightly of course.

Whoever destroyed the comms room, and wud thus be Bens man, MUST be someone very important in the scheme of things. Ben got a lot of info about Charlotte, Miles, Dan and Frank. Even knew where Charlotte studied her degree. He wudn't of got this info from someone low down in the chain o command.

Do not know what to what of that transcription, however we do not yet know it is the same Brandon - would be interesting if he was working undercover, unknowingly to Danielle and her team. A spy if you will.

I say this because he seemingly took "the keys" and ran off, SOMEHOW ending up on The Freighter some 20 odd years later. Though perhaps he locked her up for safety?

Yes I do recall a Robert but cannot remember what happened to him. If indeed the SAME Brandon then yes perhaps he bailed on his team and got back to the real world or found rescue out at Sea. People often act irrationally if scared or what have you.

Rousseau's team were seemingly dismantled with violence and terror upon arrival to the Island. Who is to say The Freighter's Boss has not been looking for the Island for 20 years? Unlikely however. However Freighter Brandon is dead now so perhaps they are not the same person.

Everyone is different, so very cliché I suppose but ALL of our Survivors are not sick, nor the Others whom came to the Island. One would have to think should anyone have gotten sick, HOW would they know how to defeat the variable Conscience, as Faraday guided Desmond. However with a baby inside her perhaps Danielle was lucky as it was automatic.

It is interesting that if Ben's man is Michael, WHY would he agree to help Ben when clearly he is NOT on his way home? I am sure this will be explained IF it is indeed him. Interesting idea that it was Ben's man who researched the information, I just assumed he has people in the outside world to do this kind of thing.

Oh she shot him too? She is quite a terrible person for that alone. That could NEVER be condoned unless Robert [or her team] were threatening her life. If it turns out she killed her team PURELY because they were suffering from the symptoms George and Desmond had, she is a God aweful person.

The people behind The Freighters are probably the Dharma "remains" on the outside world whom were not able to find the Island again because of Ben's doings. I say this purely because Dharma must have had Offices and Employers/Owners OFF the Island.

Indeed, it is very likely re: Danielle's immunityor perhaps her DNA, Genetics saved her?

I am beginning to think there may be more to this Constant business, in that only some are susceptible to it. Possibly because of their past and/or their person or something along those lines? One example [purely out there however] is that Jacob wants a different path for someone and allows them to access the past to change their present/future.
