Thought this was interesting whilst looking through some caps -
The Freighter has the same type of communications device as the looking glass hatch - same model, age etc. Whilst this may not appear important, I think that it signifies that both the LG hatch and the Freighter are from the same period (1980's), it also could further link the Freighter to Dharma - since Dharma built the LG Hatch and the freighter has the exact same monitor. Whilst it's impossible that this is a coincidence (or prop recycling), I doubt it. The Freighter Comms: ![]() The Looking Glass (LG) Comms: ![]() Incidentally, is this how Ben was communicating with his 'inside man' - via Bonnie and Greta, via the LG comms? They did appear to know a great deal more than they were able to reveal.. ![]() (Although I still have a sneaky feeling that Ben is able to either time-travel or experience 'flashes'.)

hmm, i also noticed the alarm on the frieghter was the exact same alarm that was used in the hatch, i was actually expecting des to time travel back to the hatch at the moment! i think it will all be relevant. they put so much time and effort on the finer details and planting clues into the show ,i dont think they are being lazy and just reusing old props.
there are no coincidences in lost imo |

Interesting, i'll have to go back and look out for that. All of this does indeed seem to suggest that the ship was/is Dharma owned, or at the very least that they're from the same period. Now that we have a Rousseau link to the ship, it seems likely that they were/are part of Dharma (or rivals, perhaps?)..
But it's just weird that Ben wouldn't out Rousseau - unless she's his constant..(unlikely).

Maybe the equipment needed in order to get near the island has to be older 1980s equipment. It would expain why theres no modern equipment on the island, even though ben seems to be able to get off the island and bring people onto it.
It might also explain why the plane crashed, being a modern airplane? |

Very good spot. I noticed that it looked similar to the Looking Glass terminal, but I didn't think for a second it was the same prop. I'm sure it can't be accidental... so I wonder what it means - some relation to Hanso, the funders of Dharma?
Also, I was surprised at the general state and small size of the freighter. Although they did say 'freighter', I was expecting more a frigate I suppose. Definitely not an old freighter.
