[Kiowa Warrior]

I can only really give this episode a 6 for now, not because we got yet more questions and no answers - that I can deal with since this is Lost after all - but because of the way so many characters were dealt with:

- I mean seriously, what prosecuting lawyer - or court or judge or jury or same person - would not have got Kate locked up for many years after what she's done? And unless Kate somehow managed to concinve people that Aaron is biologically hers, I just find it hard to believe that a person with Kate's criminal background would be allowed to look after a child instead of it being given to someone else.

- Sawyer is once again allowed to be used by Kate whenever she feels like it and it's just sad to see him continue to suffer at her selfish hands, especially after what he went through with Cooper.

- Have Hurley and Claire already forgotten about Charlie? They just seemed awfully happy and carefree putting out the washing and watching videos.

- And just what are they doing with Locke's character at the moment?
It just seemed far too inconsistent this episode, what with being easily manipulated by Ben (once again), angry, rude (barging into Kate/Claire's house without knocking) and feeling insecure and not very confident of his actions (seeking what seemed like assurance form Sawyer), he then goes into 'Kate you're banished because I say so' and 'Enjoy your breakfast grenade Miles you rule breaker,' pretty quickly. I like to think that Locke simply reached the point where he had had enough of people who had voluntarily chosen to follow him (hello Kate) betray him, as well as both Ben and Miles seemingly in more control of the situation than he was, so he decided to put his foot down and do something about it. It's probably just me, but I would have liked to see something trigger all this off.
And why is he spouting rubbish about Jack's leadership style being 'democratic?'

Oh well, look on the brightside: if we managed to survive Stranger In A Strange Land, we can get through this episode as well!

I gave it a 7... it was good, and I liked the new focus on Claire... but just... something was missing... the Law and Order FF was strangely out of place for me.

I loved it all though... especially the Hurley scenes. "You just scooby-doo'd me, didn't you?"

seven. Wasnt too bad, and had some nice moments, as well as a good reveal.

7. It was good and what I'd call the average kind of Lost episode, which is still good, obviously. Kate's scenes on island were no good, but everywhere else I was satisfied. I enjoyed Kate's flashforward, the Aaron bit at the end, the lots of Claire (of course), the lost Locke, the Miles and the Ben. For an episode 4 of a series in Lost it was going at a very nice pace.

I'm giving it a seven, I thought it was good but nowhere near the last episode. Partly because it was Kate centric and partly because it seemed to go past a lot quicker than many episodes I remember.

Best episode of the season so far .... and not just because of the revelation at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed everything that happened both on the island and off. Imo it's the only episode so far in this season that has had that Lost feel to it

I loved it! Full of suspence, I absolutely LOVE the ending....jeez. Give it a 9.

I took a few days to consider this so I wasn't rushing into slating it. But think I disliked it even more after viewing a second time. I gave it a 4. Purely because I think that Lost episodes are usually of a real high standard and 4 is described as 'below average'. This was distinctly that. I think I'm being generous.

Yeah, yeah, I know the chances of me liking it were slim given that it was Kate-centric but I was determined to give it the benefit of the doubt.

So, the inconsistencies and discrepancies were countless and extremely annoying. The writing and direction of so many of the characters just didn't ring true. The plot had several gaping holes. It answered no questions and had the nerve to treat the viewers like imbiciles. I mean, are we supposed to go 'Oh the chopper didn't make it back to the ship, maybe Sayid is dead!!', when we saw last week that Sayid makes it off the Island.
The 'big reveal' just annoyed me too. I'd a feeling it would be Aaron anyway but what annoyed me was the fact Kate's on trial for 1st degree murder, arson, fraud and resisting arrest, among other charges. Are we seriously supposed to believe that a public enemy No1 would be allowed to look after a small child. Aaargh!!!!

The best thing was Locke, he really saved the episode from a worse rating. Oh, I've seen him slated all over the place but come on, what about his screen presence... 'My name is John Locke and I'm responsible for the well being of this Island' *swoon* So he doesn't know where he's going yet but he's not going to take any poop lying down. The leader may not know where he's going, but with an aura like that I'd follow him round Tesco!

I agree with the character inconsistancies. Claire's boyfriend dies, what, a week before and she's all fine n dandy? Doing the laundry? Please...
