Alternative Episode Titles - 4.03 - Lost Community Forums - Official Spoiler-free Lost Fansite

I like the title "The Economist", it's short, to the point and can work on a few intriguing levels.

But if I were naming this episode, i'd go for:

"Puppet Master"

or

"Everyone Has A Boss"

or

"The Devil Has My Soul"

'Everyone Has A Boss' is quite a good one Roco, and sort of reminds me back in early S2 when Locke tells Hurley that everyone has a job to do, whether they like it or not.

To keep with the economy theme I'd go (at the moment) for:

'Balance of Payments' which is an economics terms with regards to money going in and out of a country with that country's accounts needing to balance as their bills are paid, but since real life seldom produces a perfectly neat and equal balance sheet, a 'balancing item' is often inserted to try and cover up the inconsistencies. And of course on Lost the people on it have to pay quite a lot for what they've done or what they want to have, and they rarely get a fair deal when they do! In this episode Sayid doesn't seem like the happiest buyer at all for starters...

For some reason I really dislike the title The Economist. Don't know why though

Alternate titles that I can come up with are:

Blood Money

The Price To Pay

Hidden Agenda

The only, terrible effort I can come up with is,

"Wargames"

Its all I can think of with regards to all the prisoner swapping and mindgames going on

"Of Strings And Things"
(reference to strings being puled by shadowy masters)

or

"Markets & Mergers"
(explains to economist angle, but also the changing state of the Losties and their alliances)
