Until we know his true motivations, blackmailing Sayid into becoming his private hit man does seem pretty brutal on the face of it.

Locke

Team Locke Member No.1 Hurley got a bit of an earful from his leader this episode, and Locke seems more than comfortable in taking hostages and putting guns in front of his fellow Losties’ faces these days.

Sayid

After comfortably ‘cheating’ Frank to get himself off the island he starts a new career as a ruthless hit man meaning his torturing days may be over but his killing ones certainly aren’t.

And there will be an instant banning for anyone who dares to whine ‘omg character bias!!’ for this week’s Hero/Villain choices as well

Actually I am going to refuse to vote in this poll, because we dont actually know of any of these motives are, and thus if they can be deemed villanous or not.

If anything I'd say that Hurley was a bit of a villain, for tricking Sayid and Kate.

And as long as my eyes don't deceive me and John Locke actually is up for Villain of the Week, I suppose once in 4 years isn't bad, then it is always going to be him - nay, It.

Is the game turning fair?

I'm not really sure who is the villain this week, I'm gonna go with Locke because what sayid is doing 'Could,' be important... Locke on the other hand was much more rude then jack ever was!

I voted Ben, based his track record. He's probably up to no good, and it's not usually fair to blame the puppet.

He still has poor methods of carrying out justice it would seem.

No, not being biased is not choosing any character unfairley. Like Jack last week for example, and dont pretend that you selected him because he was a villain because you admitted that you only chose him due to needing to fill a 3rd choice. So yes, you were biased last week in choosing Jack. Just because i think this weeks is fair is not due to the fact that Jack isnt in the list, its due to the fact that Ki has placed some of her fav characters who are deserving the villain of the week title, into the thread. Well done Ki for the honesty!!

Ben has done nothing to deserve this, lol, it really could go either way. Ultimately it appears that he is actually helping Sayid. But then Ben is the new hate figure so go for it

Locke did what had to be done.

Sayid actually killed someone..his woman, no less. He also conned Frank for his own ends. Pretty villainous

*sigh* Who should i have chosen instead of jack? I felt at the time annoyed by his attitude towards the newcomers, and although i wouldnt call him a villain, i had to choose a third person and i chose jack out of the lack of options. I really dont like being accused of bias man, this is getting stupid. Ironically i dont even particularly dislike jack.

Have i finally cleared this up?

Ben - Athough we dont really know his motives, we know that he is trying to take down a group of people who are seemingly 'bad guys' which dosnt really give justification to class him as a villan, but the way he was revealled at the end made him seem so creepy and evil that even if he isnt doing villanous things he still seems like a villan.

So he's more a 'creepy face to camera' of the week then?

Actually, I found Sayid kinda scarey when he put a bullet though his girlfriend, so scenes do impact.

However, they have been setting Ben up with these types of scenes for ages and I like that misdirection.
