Yes its that special time again, when a staff member picks choices for your hero/villain of the week. This time, its your island guardian's turn (well ki isnt around anyway
). 1. Daniel Faraday: This weedy looking freighty, while not doing anything particularly heroic, seems at least on appearence, to be a very genuine, well meaning guy, who was instrumental in calming early tentions between jack and miles. 2. Hurley: Continued to be the voice of reason amongst locke and co, possibly stopping sawyer from committing (another!) murder. Nice work reyes. 3. Charlotte: She took a bullet! Thats heroic! Plus she seems cool and i couldnt think of any others ![]()

I actually think, out of those, Hurley's the only one who did anything overtly heroic (Charlotte's being shot counts, yes, but she kind of counters it with her deception - but then so do all the other freighterites by default). Maybe it ought to be Frank - he's the first person to successfully land a vehicle on the island.
But I said Daniel anyway because I made him villain last week and now I kind of love him, so it's reparations basically. |

Jack, as he defended Juliet when the frieghters went to 'attack' her. He also got himself and kate from being held at gun point, aswell as beginning to question the motives of these supposed rescuers. But surprise surprise, he isnt on the list so hurley.

Hurley by default, as the most heroic of the non-heros that you have nominated. If he had have been there I would have voted for Frank the piliot - he managed to get his crew out safely in difficult circumstances, took a lightening bolt and still anded the helicopter in tact.

None of them should be choices
But I'll go for Charlotte simply because I like her and she got shot for no apparent reason. OK she's here for Ben but surely Ben realises that there are other members of the team, shooting one of them is only gonna cause more problems for Ben with the other Freighties and Team Sawyer (it's not Team Locke anymore )

I don't think Charlotte did anything heroic - she took a bullet, yet she was wearing a bullet proof vest. That alone speaks volumes! Or perhaps Mikhail deserved to be a hero for actually dying. - That's why I don't think Charlotte deserves anything but sceptism
![]() I like Dan, but he did nothing heroic per se. I'm voting as this is intended - hero of the 'week'. Maybe next time Danny boy. Which leaves Hugo - I appreciated his meaningful nod to Sawyer, just as the maniac was about to execute another man in cold blood. That plea from Hugo served to keep Sawyer's image from plummeting any lower than the seabed where it currently rests, but also preserved the life of a man who is very important. Furthermore it prevented Alex from living a tormented life of nightmares and heartbreak. No-one should see their parent being massacred in front of their eyes, especially when all that man has done is tease a grown man about his girlfriend who isn't even his girlfriend. I think Sawyer's issue was that HE left Kate..he's feeling guilty and "Yoda" was an easy target. Shame on you Ford ![]() Um, so yeah, Hugo.
