Okay

Does this mean Ben has been off the island because in this picture he is older....

So why has Ben been off the island or has this picture been taken on the island. All very confusing???

Either someone took it on the island and then left, as Alpert and Ethan can, or Ben left the island. While I can readily believe Ben left the island and lied about it, I think the former's more likely. Ben was looking directly into the camera, so seemingly he knew the photo was being taken. It didn't look like a secretive thing.

So does that mean the freighter has a man among the Others?

yeah, he has definately been off. i think they can all get off the island as the girls in the looking glass were supposed to be on another site in canada, if i remember correctly? and richard was there to recruit juliet. Juliet looked surprised at seeing the picture so she probably wasnt aware ben was coming and going. wonder what he was doing in 'the real world'?

Oh and why doesnt the computer have any cables plugged into it. very odd.

Going by the monitor in the background, it looks like it's been taken off the Island. However, it could easily be on the Island. I don't see why Ben should never have left the Island - he hasn't claimed he's been there all his life.

A juicy twist would be that Richard or Ethan supplied these people with a picture of him. Perhaps they're helping these folk get revenge for the purge administered by Ben?

And those are some camp clothes Ben's wearing.

It says CTV at the bottom of that photo. Is that like a version of CCTV? Is it a video still?

Alternative theory: The person that Ben has on the boat, is the same person who took the photo and is acting has a double agent and has used the photo to gain the freighties trust thus allowing hims to spy on them to Ben.

It's a channel the broadcasts Lost as far as I'm aware, like ABC.

could be a wanted psychopath seeking refuge in the last place ppl will look, until now that is.

He doesn't blink an eye when executing ppl and he is quite cold and calm when talking. Quite like serial killers from films (e.g. hannibal)

What i want to know is what they have a medium, a anthropologist and a physicist on the island..
