Am I the only person really missing the flashbacks? The FBs were what made Lost unique and no program has really done it up to that standard yet but... for some reason these FFs don't sit right with me. They seem rather... wrong. If it continues at this rate we'll find out who got off the island very soon or have to put with Kate after Jack after Kate after Jack themed episodes even more than we've already been subjected to over three seasons.

Maybe I just don't like change, or maybe it's because it seems like it's giving the answers away. But mainly... there are still some answers that I want that I don't think could work in a conversation between Losties. What was the Tampa job? How did Sayid get out of Iraq? And... well there's probably more somewhere along the line, even if the big ones are now answered.

i think the FF's are ok
the FB's were wat made the show but im sure they will have them back
i mean i think at the stage lost is in, it has to have something different
just for the moment
but there is still quite alot of some of the survivors past's we dnt know about

im sure we will get used to them

i love the flash forwards. it's giving the show more dimension and i think i'm one of the few people who don't mind waiting for the answers to everything. i quite like being in the dark. when Lost is over and everything is (hopefully) answered, i'll probably get withdrawl from not having anything to ponder about

I think the FB's will return because surely they cannot give us FF's every episode can they? Well assuming the Oceanic Six make it off the Island in S4 or S5 [in time to make it back before Lost ends; S6] that will be when FF's end and FB's return. Of course we could still have a few more FF's even then.

Who really knows - I think the Opener had a FF because that is where S3 finished. I think we will have FB's from this point onward; speculation of course. I hope FB's return for the next episode and beyond otherwise we will know too much about the future.

One interesting idea as a way to swerve us is a FF which shows Jack [for example] AFTER he has returned to the Island and AFTER he has returned to the outside world [AGAIN] if that makes sense. This way we can receive FF's but be swerved later down the road.

i do love the FF's
but Fb's are cool

but its like the FF's arent in order
jacks was after hurleys but it was shown before hurleys
so theres still the element of 'oh this hasnt happened yet' and what not
lol

I think people who theorise take for granted ALL these questions we have that never seem to get answered. It is these questions that keep us theorising constantly. I would not want Lost to be like Heroes by giving us quick pay-offs.

Good point, I think we could be entertained for a while as to what exactly is going on in the FF's.

I don't mind waiting for answers but with almost everything now answered I'm worried that the writers will just decide that there's been enough about the past and leave it as is.

there's too much in the past that has to be answered, one example is Libby's whole goings-on. if she isn't really explained, imagine how the fans would react?

It does seem like a lot was answered in season three though - we found out what Kate did, how Locke was paralysed (I never ever thought we'd find that out!) and that Claire was related to Jack and things like that.

I think there is still plenty of material post-FF's to keep Lost running. I heavily doubt the Oceanix Six will NEVER return to the Island otherwise that would be a let-down. They have to return surely?

I also doubt everything will be answered - which I agree will be frustrating. They will probably release a magazine or have Missing Pieces-esque material to feed us the little answers.
