Firstly, at the point when Zeke was telling Jack, Sawyer and Locke to go home and Michael was in the clearing next door, that was '13 days ago'. But by the time he had got to the others camp, it was '11 days ago'. That took a while didnt it?

Also, Miss Klugh told Michael to bring his friends to their camp when he returned. Yet when he was bringing them, they were ambushed before they got there. Maybe thios was because they had seen Sayid coming or maybe they presumed there would be some sort of plan from the losties... who knows?

Ah, and the other thing, they held Michael at their camp for 8 days... 8 days!! Why?
Maybe they were just waiting for a reason to release him... would they have killed him if Henry didnt get captured?

Presumably when they heard of Henry's capture it may have taken them some time to agree a plan. As for the ambush, it is possible that Henry himself instructed Michael to mislead the group in the direction of Pala Ferry (which is no doubt much closer to the beach than the fake camp of the Others).

I assumed that's precisely what happened - which is why, when Jack saw Sayid's smoke signal (I maintain it was Sayid who started it) and realised that, if the smoke was coming from the village, they'd been led somewhere quite different, he looked accusingly at Michael, who subsequently looked very guilty. And, as a side issue, how bizarre is it to allow the man who's just been revealed as a double murderer of two of your fellows to continue to lead you through the jungle?

yeah but was Henry actually locked up for 8 days?

Yeah, but if we look at the blast door map, we can see that their hatch (or presumed hatch) is on the other side of the island - right near the Arrow (tailes) hatch, in fact...and it also tok 'Team Lucia' a couple of days to cross the island.

Though i am slightly bemused at how quickly 'Team Jack' managed to cross the island..come to think of it they probably didnt even got half way..the Pala Ferry port (where we saw them bound and gagged) is probably closer to the Pearl than the fake/abandoned hatch

How did they hear of Henry's capture ?

I always assumed he got himself caught on purpose so the Losties would hold him hostage and that he some how set off the Lockdown as a signal for the Others to take action
