Default Do you support Murder?

This is a very simply poll. Please answer truthfully:

Do believe support murder

That is the question. It is a question that i ask because ive long read many people on here slammed the Others for apparently being "murderers" and "killers"..and yet i am quite sickened at the level of glee and excitement some of our community members have taken at the death of Cooper. I find it somewhat ironic that it's apparently ok to slam the Others for these mystery murders which i still hear about but see no evidence for..and yet to then virtually condone, and for some people, support Fords murder of Cooper.

Now this is a very serious point and one which i feel every person who has supported or condoned the EXECUTION of Cooper has to answer themselves. I mean apparently the losties and their fans represent democracy and civilised norms..and yet where are these civilised norms when so many of the losties representatives support murder..

Where are those people who slammed the room 23 treatment of Karl? Why many of those people are currently jubilent in the wake of Sawyers death.

Where are those folk who call the Others killers? Why many of those people are currently supporting the sympathetic Sawyer routine.

Tell me, how can we allow such convenient changing of the rules (which lostie-fans set themselves) to go by unnoticed. If not for me i fear that we would all be blind to this astrocity. This may upset many and wont make me much liked, but then im not here to be popular.

Im just bemused at how the same people who constantly slam the Others for being 'killers' and the like are now currently happy that Cooper is dead?

It's one thing to say that the man had it coming, but i fear that some folks are forgetting their previous stances..be this a tv show or not, that excuse doesnt wash with me..if you advocate any murder than you carry that with you. Unless you live your life telling lies over the internet.

Anyhoo..back to the poll. Do you advocate murder? Yay or nay?

No. Obviously. And if you seriously feel you need to ask that disgusting question of anyone on this board, I'm more than slightly horrified.

Yes, unfortunately i do Murg..because ive seen one too many people 'glad' that Sawyer executed Cooper. Many of those people are also lostie fans.

Many of these people say that they stand for civilised norms and peace...and yet they support and revel in cold-blooded EXECUTION.
Sad isnt it

I for one do not support murder Roco, you know my views on last nights eppisode. I hope you werent refering to me when you worte your poll? It was the straw that broke the camels back and had to form my own group because of it, so that I may support the losties with even more flexablity, without the need to excuse the inexuseable. What Sawyer, the man ultimatly responsible for what happened (although Ben and Locke share a portion of the blame, but thats for another thread) was completly worng and should never have occured. I thought Sawyer had changed when he left the knife at the door, I guess I was worng. People say that MrCooper desrved it etc - that option was not anyones to take. I wonder if they will be has happy to see that guy who Sawyer killed (Frank Ducket??) before he got on the planes family hunt him down and kill him in the same way? I wont be holding my breathe...

It's not 'them' I'm horrified in - I'm horrified at your implying that people interested enough to question motives and examine apportioning of blame might be closet murder-fans. What a thing to say.

No seriously back on topic, I can't see how anyone can actually say they support murder. To do so makes you an instant monster like Hitler, Hussain etc. But Haelle what I personally think you feel, and I'm the same, is that we understand why murder, at the most extreme incidents, can be warranted. I am not saying it's right nor am I excusing it but there are times when you can look at it and go "Yeah that guy had a reason". For example I could understand little Maddy's father murdering the guy who took her. That is not saying I support murder, but more understanding when it comes to it.

I dont think Murder is "cold-blooded" as you say, i think if there is a justified reason behind it - Like sawyers or Ana Lucia's (Jason not Shannon lol) then i think they should rightly do it, i know i would. But i think murders liek Charlie of Ethan and things like that is sick, there needs to be a real hard reason.

I think Sawyer's and Locke's murder of Cooper is more justified than the murders of Jason and Ethan...
