So the worst kept secret in Lost has been revealed - that Mr Cooper was the real Sawyer.

But the question is, when and how did you work it out? I will keep this has an open question, since there were many options for this to go through.

For me, it was when he said to Locke, "You werent the first man to get conned" thats when it just clicked for me.

Well, i knew it would be revieled tonight that cooper is the real sawyer. TBH, i thought it was possible but never really took notice. Guess i was wrong!

I never guessed it myself, someone guessed it for me a while back...can't remember who though, could have been Kenni.

i don't really know lol, i suppose it was when i joined here because i didn't really think of all the links and stuff like that before, it was just something i watched on tv and obsessed over. lol

I can't remember exactly I think back in S1 I considered it then dismissed it then read some forum thoughts on the same lines and over time just took it to be so

I actually thought Deux Ex Machina's con was a one-off (or I hoped it was), so I didn't get it at that point. I think I got it the same time ESN did.

i didn't pay much attention to the con in Deus ex Machina unfortunately, but when his cons began to get more and more, it just fit into place.

I think everybodys had it deep in their head for ages by the looks of things. I definitely had it locked up in mine but I kind of thought will it actually be him? It did seem obvious, so I thought they might just be leading us off course to give us a surprise

But I don't mind, Cooper being Sawyer turned out to make a very good episode, which happened to have a lot of importance for another plot at the same time.
