Definatley an 8. Things are looking up for lost with that episode i thought it was brilliant! But i am a wee Sayid fan, but in general i thought it was a great action packed epi, loved to see Sawyer get his smug lil face slapped :P and the flashbacks were great too!

6. It was good, but not great. It almost felt like they were trying to cram too much into one episode. Yeah, I love Sayid, but I wanted something new with him, and I thought they kinda wasted Patchy and Mrs. Klugh...
It was good, and had some enjoyable moments - still loving Sayid's digs at Locke, and the table tennis was very cute, and had me giggling. Enjoyable overall though.

I gave it an eight, it was more Lost like than last episode I though. More exciting and it had more seat edge moments. It also gave us more things to look into and some things were answered. I felt like we actually got somewhere this time.

I give this episode a very strong 8.5.
I loved the message or moral indicator in this episode and the questions it posed for both Sayids character and the decisions he's made. I mean the whole 'I have always been a torturer' excuse which we heard from Sayid back in 2x14 seems pathetic now..now that WE know the truth about this man..now that we know what he did and the reprive he was given by a most gracious and brave woman. If she can make a conscious choice to do the right thing, despite how under threat etc she was..why cant Sayid? And Sayid has the nerve to ask Chaz whether 'he's forgotten what the Others have done to them' - i suggest to Sayid that he put away his stones and start slamming them into his own skull - he's all out of glass houses But i digress..yes, this was a very good episode..and for the 1st time in S3 i think I actually agree with the general consensus (the overall majority)! It was also great to see the addition of a new Other..Mikhail was just great..i cant speak highly enough of his introduction - could he be the Season 3 Ben? Anyway, yes a good episode, i could add more but i'll leave it there for now! Go Lost! ![]()

It does seem odd that he tortured Sawyer and Ben after being held prisoner by that man and his wife. I guess while still being appreciated of having his life given back to him by the woman, he puts that aside when the need for torturing comes about. I guess he is no longer humbled by his experience of being tied up in someone's storage room. |

I've just 5 minutes ago watched this episode so while it's all still fresh in my mind I'm going to award it a well deserved 8!
Lost usually takes each episode very slowly (which I don't mind) but a hell of a lot went down this time! Not only did we get introduced to the Flame...but we said goodbye to it too :P Then again, as somebody else said - it all seemed a little bit crammed. But still, brilliant episode. I think Patchy seems like a very interesting character so I can't wait to see more of him. It was good to have a ping-pong game as I do love the 'mess around' sub-plots which take place in Lost. And no Hydra/Othersville/Jack this week (second week running!) which is pretty cool too. ![]() |
