It is quite odd. I've watched it over and over again and it still appears as if Locke is moving in quick motion. Maybe our minds eye is just playing tricks on us. Perhaps subconsciously we are frantic to stop the video from rewinding as well, so it appears to us as if Locke is moving faster than usual. I know I'm rambling but I cant think of another logical explanation for this other than trick photography used to make Locke appear more frantic, which is probably the case.
