Look how paternal Sawyer has been getting in the last season. He was watching out for Claire and baby Aaron. It's almost like he's in training to be a real Dad. I think being around Claire and Aaron has woken up his Daddy hormones! 
The whole show seems to invest in a lot in father/son/mother/daughter relationships.
I think Sawyer might have a bigger role next series.

Interesting idea, although it kinda gets in the way of my plans for Sawyer and Juliet
I would like to see a reunion bewteen Sawyer/Cassidy and Clementine, but whether I would like that on the island, I'm not so sure.
But I agree with you on Sawyer having a bigger role, and his parental instinct coming through - the boy's going through some changes, bless.
