Well, partly I didn't see much genuine emotion from Ben. I saw him listen carefully to what Keamy was saying, look down contemplatively and with a modicum of difficulty on hearing of the bomb, then suddenly fly out at Keamy with a bit of a melodramatic face on. 'So?' sounded genuine; his calmly reasoned waffle about 'bad command decisions' to Locke a few minutes later sounded rehearsed. Then again, my brother had just speculated as to whether Ben would be the one to blow up the freighter and sink all remnants and all evidence, so maybe my thinking about that possibility coloured my reading of what Ben subsequently did. But basically, knowingly and consciously (watch for his reaction to Keamy's information: he most definitely digested what was being said) sacrificing dozens of lives for the sake of your own desire for vengence was never going to win him any points with me, especially alongside the reminder that every sick thing he did in relation to the fertility experiments was a load of trivial and unnecessary garbage.

And at least Sawyer looked distraught after he killed Duckett.
