What does Jack think he saw?
This was the question Locke asked Kate after Jack had called him crazy after nearly being dragged down a hole by the smoke Monster in the season finale.
In the season 4 finale i'm left asking the same question - what DOES Jack think he saw? The island clearly moved/disappeared. He saw it as clear as day, yet he continued to contest that Locke moved the island as Locke said he would.
I know Jack doesn't like to admit he's wrong - especially in the case of Locke, but even for Jack, this is either stupdity or the ultimate case of denial.
I'm glad Hurley had the common sense to put him straight.
Of course Jack does go on to lie as Locke suggests and 3 years later he collapses completely, but still, should it have taken all that time for him to concede?
