Yes, I assume the island encompasses a certain amount of the surrounding water, so I'm guessing that's where Daniel and co are. I hope so anyway.
I want to know where the threat's coming from - the obvious answer is that Widmore's orchestrating it, but then he doesn't even know where the island is now. So what are the bad things that are happening (worse that what happened before??!!) ? Is this more to do with fate's having been broken ... course correction? Time-dilation? The sickness? And weren't we supposed to find out more about that irritating woman from Desmond's first time-travelling stint?
