Nice spot regarding Sayid's expression - I think that could point to Hurley "spilling the beans", or some beans about the Island. You never know, and of course Hugo's Father is likely to go to the Press in return for a large sum of money to tell all about his Island theory. Of course everyone will think he is crazy but it is still not good for the O6 to have a theory such as that arise.

Also, I personally think the whispers were REAL - they sounded too similiar, unless it was a repeat of the Kate-Juliette voice mix-up [i.e the shower scene] to confuse us.

I did love the silence when his Father made the joke, that was amusing.

But yes, I think his Father could trick him into saying too much because Hurley has a history of telling secrets either on 'purpose' or by 'mistake'. Perhaps an unveiling of what really happened is what finally causes the O6 to return - perhaps to avoid Prison and awefully bad Press?
