Yes, it was in Pilot Part 2 that Kate said to Jack that she saw the whole thing.
Jack: I didn't see what happened. I blacked out.
Kate: I didn't. I saw the whole thing. I knew the back of the plane was gone, I just couldn't bring myself to look back. The front ripped off as we were coming down and we cartwheeled through the jungle, I don't know how we survived.
