Jack's problem though, is he worries too much, probably, as you say, because he's a doctor, but in situations like this one it's not helping the group at all. Jack is incapable of shutting off the leader instinct in him, possibly because he's so determined to prove his Dad wrong. He needs to shut down once in a while because when he's in overdrive he just gets irrational. If Jack and Sawyer run into trouble - which I think is highly likely - then Jack's not going to be able to back Sawyer up very well. Jack needs to rest because at half-health he's no good to his comrades, he knows this, but he's ignoring what would be his own advice. They're traipsing through the jungle after people they know is dangerous. Juliet told him that they could go after the chopper without him but he wouldn't listen, and if that leads to Sawyer dying at the hands of Keamy and Co, I'm not going to be happy with Jack!

Poor Kate, she's on my list. Okay, that's a lie. A big lie.
I couldn't agree more. I really thought it was Sawyer's chance to shine, but pretty mcuh once Jack was back, and once Jules was accepted, Jack was seen as the leader again, and Sawyer was ignored. And good, I'm glad. Jack gets really bad press, and most of the time he doesn't deserve it.
I agree with that. Jack is so determined to help everyone that he's willing to put his own life at risk to do so. I think this is a great and dangerous thing at the same time. And there's nothing wrong with wanting to prove his dad wrong - he just wants to make him proud. I know it's very dangerous, the situation where he and Sawyer are off in the jungle, and I will be SO angry with Jack if Sawyer dies or gets hurt. I agree that this is Jack's downfall - sometimes he gets so caught up in saving people etc that he puts people at risk. A lot like Locke. But Locke is much worse at this then Jack - I'd never go on a jungle hike with Locke. Jack, however, I'd happily skip off with. I have faith however that Team Jawyer is stronger than ever and that they will hopefully be fine. If not fine, at least not dead. Hopefully. But like you, if Jack causes Sawyer's death then I don't know if I'll cope, but Sawyer is the one who appears to be suggesting that they go after Hurls. And as i've said many times, if Sawyer gets himself killed by being a hero then I'll kill him, lol.

I was gonna say, that's a shock

I, personally, would not trust Charlotte and or Daniel to do anything considering they have continulously lied to everyone on the island. I can't see Jack trusting them with the woman he loves. I just think this is something Jack needs to do - protect and help rescue his friends.
