All very bizarre, although i'm not suprised - we knew they had been given a cover story. The story is rather more convoluted than I had anticipated however - for instance Sun's insistence that Jin perished on the plane..and not in the sea or on the island.
Kate's claim that she gave birth to Aaron 5 weeks ago, is perhaps the strangest and most interesting aspect for me - Aaron, if i'm not mistaken is at least 2-3 months old at this point - would the 'real world' not notice that he looks rather older than 5 weeks? Although the reporter didn't seem to convinced by the story. More interesting the fact that she 'clearly' wasn't pregnant prior to boarding the plane - the authorities surely know this? it's not as if Ed Mars was the ONLY person who knew of her days before the 'crash'..
The island cover story is also rather far fetched..either the photo was faked and the 'villagers' were are in on the story..or Locke actually managed to move the island and the O6 somehow ended up near Indonesia. I would think that the photo was faked (although i do believe that Locke manages to move the island).
Interestingly Sun doesn't appear to be in the photo - wouldn't the reporters want a photo with her in it? Why only show one? Where is Turnip head in the photo?
The island appears to be an
actual island..as I said, all very convoluted
