Ooh, that's an interesting idea. I think you're probably right on that one. If you think about it, to physically 'move' an island, however 'magical' it may be, seems downright impossible tbh. The only plausible explanation would be to move the island to another time zone where Keamy is unable to find it. Perhaps moving the island into the future - if that is possible? Lol, how funny would it be if the O6 went back to the island and it was in the future so everyone was like, OAPs

Yeah - I wonder which option is more viable - moving the island the to future..or to the past? I guess changing the past leaves too much scope for "paradox" - so perhaps moving the island the the future is a safer option?
We already know that Ben was unsure of the year when he 'appeared' in Tunisia..perhaps this is the reason why - the island was moved. Although the fact tht he was wearing Hallowax' parka suggests that he came from the
past
lol..well, they've still got to answer the Adam and Eve storyline..so who knows

I also think it's likely that Hugo will have a part to play in 'moving' the island. I dont know why, really...i just have a feeling that he is there with Ben & Locke for a reason!
|
Yeah - crucially he was able to 'move' Jacob's cabin in 4.01..I think this could be an important aspect. Oh, and he was also able to make 'Charlie' disappear by counting to '5'. It's almost as if his mindseye is so powerful..yet so uncontrollable. Could he be somesort of 'beacon'..like a magnet which attracts/moves/transfers objects/people/memories?

OOH, i have a theory! Sayid gets back to the island on the boat and picks up a few of the Losties - Sun, Kate, Jack, Aaron...(see where i'm going here?) and he takes them back to the freighter. Then he heads back on his second run to pick more people up, but Locke has 'moved' the island by then so Sayid can't find it. Hence there only being 6 losties rescued!

I still
heart this idea, although the thing we'd have to reconcile is Sayid's meeting with Ben in Iraq (4.09), where he (Sayid) seems to imply that nothing happened to the island from his last memory of it - he asks Ben how he got off the island, as if no 'moving' had occured..
