Sorry, but this has to be said - this man is incredible! I thought that his performance up to now been
exceptional - the standout actor on any television show currently on air. But in "TSoTTC" he reached a new level, a plaine which only he occupies.
He was magnificent. Rarely am I moved to such proportions where I share the utter grief and astonishment of a tv character. For those 30 seconds after Keamy executed Alex, I was Ben.
It's not just that scene though, it's EVERY scene. It's almost as if the show was written FOR Micheal Emerson. He takes would be standard lines and conjures them up into stardust that captivates, evokes and and spellbinds his audience.
He should have won an EMMY last year (although I love Terry, so it's ok)..but this surely HAS to be his year. The man is incredible.
THANK YOU Michael, for being at the heart of possibly the best, most stunning, heart-wrenching, compelling and inspiring 40 minutes of television I have experience since
'Walkabout'.
