I quite like the direction they've taken, with regard to CGI. To be honest, I never find myself wishing they would go back to the original animation. I can't imagine Monsters Inc., Toy Story., and so on being half as good as they were had they been animated in the original way...

Having said that, according to the above source, The Princess and the Frog will be a "return to traditional animation for the first time since Home on the Range" So perhaps all is not lost with regard to old-school animation.

I'm looking forward to Wall-E, UP, Toy Story 3 (d'ur) as well as keeping an eye on The King of Elves although I very much doubt it will stick to PKD's original short story lol as a Disney film I doubt they could!
