Yeah, I understand. No matter how simple a line seems to be on Lost there are usually hundreds of hidden meanings. Meanings which, in all honesty, I'm too lazy to find

Yeah he did seem like a miserable little bugger didn't he? Fair enough his girlfriends 'father' will do anything to keep him away from his daughter, but surely that's what every girlfriends father does. Or in my experience anyway... Even so if I was with Tania Raymonde I'd crack a smile. I was never a fan of Karl, he just seemed like a snivelling twit (as shown by his immediate ratting out of Jules - a supposed friend) so I wasn't much fussed about his death. Simply that it appears as though Ben sent him to it.
