Maybe because (on top of the other suggestions I've offered) - a) the question of why Rose didn't want to go with Locke was the question under consideration, not why Rose didn't want to go with Sawyer, Sayid, Ben, Rousseau or any of the island's other murderers and b) because I don't think Bernard actually knows about what people like Sawyer, Sayid, Ben and Rousseau have done.
