Merely a passing reference in the episode but I thought I'd check it out. When Frank passed Regina on his way to see Sayid and Desmond he pointed out she was reading her book upside down. The book that Regina was reading was "The Survivors of the Chancellor: Diary of J. R. Kazallon, Passenger" by Jules Verne. The book about the sinking of a boat, and it's told from a passenger's perspective.
Considering Regina killed herself later that same episode I wondered if it could have been a hint of things to come for the Freighties, who - according to the Captain - are suffering from extreme cabin fever due to the close proximity of the island, and are unable to move at the moment (possibly courtesy of Michael?). Regina decided in go out by sinking to Davy Jone's Locker and it seems (from the blood stain) at least one other passenger has commited suicide.
It may be nothing or it may not. The floor's open for discussion.
