According to Juliet's DOC, Sun is 11 weeks pregnant (9 weeks since DOC) as at the on-island date of 'Ji Yeon'. Also according to Juliet, most of the women made it to the middle of their second trimester (let's say around 20 weeks?), so that gives her 9 more weeks or so. Also according to Juliet, in three weeks Sun will be suffering almost constant nausea, a week after that she will get shortness of breath, and a week after that - coma. So that's going to be quite a long coma then (at least 4 weeks).
Actually, it's worse than that, because the DOC given by Juliet falls into the period when Sun and Jin were living apart (after he found out she spoke English). So, some kind of immaculate conception?
And after all that build-up to the nausea, breathlessness, coma, all we see is Sun giving birth to a healthy baby. That's nice, but how did that happen? Did the off-island medics find a solution to the problem? Did it just go away all by itself once she was off the island?
Is it just me, or are there an awful lot of unanswered questions here? I'm assuming that it's not just bad writing, and I don't think they invented the time-dilation to fix the continuity errors!, but there is something really screwy about the dates.
