No. When going through the island bubble, due to Desmond's past experience with electromagnetism (the hatch implosion), the curse set his conscious mind back to 1996 at that moment. Anything between him being in the Army regiment and the moment that the curse struck was instantly wiped. Everything was forgotten. *Bear in mind Daniel's forgetting*.
So Des's conscious mind has now been reset to 1996 and in the regiment camp. As such he doesn't know anything about the Island, Sayid or whatever. He doesn't know anything about the race around the world. This all happened but Des doesn't remember it due to his conscious mind being reset to 1996. When Des's conscious goes back it always goes back to that specific time. It does not continue on and so he would not relive all the race around the world, the crash etc as in Flashes. It would go back to when his conscious mind was reset. His regressions would not go back any further/later and would not continue this far as by then his brain would have simply given up ala Minkowski and Eloise.
Hope that helps
