On the newspaper clipping that Jack reads on the plane and again in his car in
3.22 "Through The Looking Glass", it states that a man
, Jeremy Langtham (the man who's funeral Jack goes to. Jeremy is possibly an alias) committed suicide and is
"survived by his teenage son".
