Did it surprise anyone else as to why Locke took Ben so readily? I can't understand his motivation in doing so - surely Locke isn't still hoping that Ben will be his "bestest bestest fwend" - being shot and left in a ditch of bones had to have finally killed off that... right?
Maybe he wants revenge on Ben, but that doesn't seem like the kind of thing that he does, except maybe rarely against Charlie.
Or does he realise that Ben could be an asset in the fight against whoever is coming to get them? He knows more about the island and Jacob than the rest of them put together and would be able to help them in order to help himself.
I want to say it's the third option, I really do but something in me tells me that Locke is still an OtherPuppy and is desperate for the inclusion that Ben could bring.
