Charlie - Back Too Soon?
After waiting over a season to have Boone show up again in Locke's wacky paste vision we get Charlie... one episode after he died. And out of all the rest who have died we had the briefest snippet of Ana-Lucia for Mr. Eko right after she died and a couple of flashback appearences for people which don't really fall into the same category.
Did we need Charlie this early? Obviously this only counts if he is actually dead and a vision of Hurley's head / the island / whatnot, but there wasn't any form of gap, no time to miss him if you liked him or celebrate if you didn't.
When Boone came back it seemed special to me. In the same way that it does whenever Ethan pops up and it's not because they're two of my favourite characters. If it had been, say, eight episodes later I'd have gone "*legasp* Charlie!"
Bringing him back so early, if dead, bored me. But what do you guys think? Should the writers have waited or were you pleased to see him back already?
