The shots of Ana and Christian in Australia were flipped to make it look they were driving the correct side of the road. All the lettering on the cocktail bar and area were reversed so they would look correct on camera.

Its on the making of this episode on the DVD. Amazing how fooled we are sometimes.

I remember seeing that on the dvd and thinking how weird it looked with everything the other way round.

i know i'm gonna sound stupid here but... why didn't they just block the road off and make them drive on the opposite side? makes more sense lol

because they would still need a car with the steering wheel the correct side as the aussies drive on the left like us.

well they could just get import a car but maybe that costs to much. Maybe they should fire Kate and then use the money to buy some aussie cars!!

At beginning of season 2, just after the hatch door's blown off (and the dust comes down), they flip the camera when they zoom into Desmond's face for no reason I can think of.
