Coz he's seeing things our way now..he's realised that we were right all along and that Ben is the provider of opportunity..an oportunity which he wouldnt otherwise of had. Yes, the kidnappings werent ideal..but boy does this prove that when in this situation, we'd all be thanking Ben for saving us..we'd all realise that there is a bigger picture.

Vindication for the Others..methinks
Oh, rot. :P It proves nothing of the sort. At present we just don't have enough info for it to make sense: all it currently indicates is that Jack is easily swayed into throwing aside his integrity about how he considers his own treatment (offering someone the escape you're capable of providing at a physical and emotional cost is not decent behaviour) and his concerns for other human beings if it means he gets a shot at freedom (from a man who then did what he could to deny that freedom anyway - thanks a bunch, Ben). There are still a lot of very frightened and confused and endangered people back on that beach, and if the promise of going home is enough to make him smile and skip about in spite of that knowledge, then he doesn't have much in way of a heart. Though, as I say, we need a lot more info.
