But surely 'trying her best' would have been to do everything she could have done to be a good person; take the money and go to New York and, to put it crudely, mick all over Sabrina by becomming successful.
As opposed to what she did do - it seems that she refused the money to save her pride from being bruised but surely conning her own step-brother (who she knew was in love with her) is a disgusting sort of pride to hold on to.

Sabrina is too blame though.
Shannon said "She resented my relationship with dad"
Then Sabrina sees Boone and Shannon close together. Sabrina is jealous of Shannon because she is closer too the people she loves then she is.
Sabrina = jesalous and evil 
Shannon = generous and sweet - she resented Boone because he got what she shoudl have got.

But that wasn't Boone's fault. Why should he have to suffer so that Shannon gets some revenge over something he couldn't control? |
